Sandblasting plant

The Investor LITOSTROJ E.I. has decided to launch a modern technological process of sandblasting and coating that shall be performed in a new structure, sited in the existing plant of “Pločevinarna” (plate mill). It shall be technically and technologically connected with the existing plant. In the administration and technical building which has been designed as a two-storey, structurally dilated facility, offices and other appertaining rooms necessary to provide functioning of the complete sandblasting and coating process were foreseen. Prior to the new sandblasting plant construction the existing worn out structures in this location had to be destructed.

In between the new structure and the existing ones complete external arrangement, mostly in asphalt finishing meeting the manipulation demand, has been performed. By the structure, a neutralization basin, buried into the ground, has been performed.

Beside technical solutions, siting of the new industrial plant by the existing “Pločevinarna” which is a state protected monument required also relevant architectural solutions.

The IBE d.d. services encompassed elaboration of complete design and technical documentation, complete coordination of the project and carrying out of administration procedure required to obtain Construction Permit.
