Ajdovščina Compressor Station is of significant importance for the Slovenia's gas pipeline network.
Project basis and goals
Ajdovščina Compressor Station is one of the most important facilities of the Slovenian gas transmission network.
It serves to supply the Republic of Slovenia with natural gas from the direction of Italy. Ajdovščina CS is equipped with three natural gas compressors with a total capacity of 250 000 Nm3/h at a design pressure of 70 bar(n).
Project solutions
Ajdovščina Compressor Station is of significant importance for the supply of the Slovenian gas transmission network, as it is key to ensuring adequate flow and pressure conditions thus increasing the reliability of the entire gas transmission system and the smooth transmission of natural gas through and into Slovenia.
IBE services
IBE produced technical bases for the National Spatial Plan, conceptual design, a project for obtaining a building permit, documentation for the tender for the works, a project for construction implementation, an explosion risk study with risk assessment and as-built project documentation.
During construction IBE was involved in a technical advisory and design supervision role.
