The foundry facility is functionally integrated into the existing production complex and at the same time provides optimal conditions for production and administrative processes.
Project basis and goals
The foundry facility is located on the western side of the existing production complex in Ivančna Gorica, where it is fully integrated into the existing environment. It is divided into two main parts: a one-story part, which is intended for production activities, and a two-story part, which is intended for administrative premises.
The production hall is designed for the needs of the optimal operation of the foundry furnace in the RC cage, and at the same time it also includes the associated rooms, which are key to the operation of the foundry. Special attention is also paid to safety, efficiency and the work process.
The administrative part is a two-story complex that includes offices, meeting rooms, changing rooms and other accompanying rooms.
Special emphasis is placed on the measuring laboratory, which is separately placed on a dilated foundation, which prevents the transmission of vibrations from the immediate surroundings and thus ensures accurate measurements and a stable environment for the operation of the measuring equipment.
By combining functionality, aesthetics and thoughtful siting, the foundry facility is successfully integrated into the existing environment and at the same time provides optimal conditions for production and administrative processes.
IBE services
IBE created a conceptual design, a project for obtaining a building permit, a project for construction implementation and an as-built documentation.
During construction, IBE participated in the role of technical consulting and design supervision.
